Step 1: Log in to DirectAdmin

Open your web browser and navigate to your DirectAdmin login page. The URL should be something like:
example.com:2222
(replace "example.com" with your actual server's hostname or your own domain name). -
Enter your DirectAdmin username and password to log in to the control panel.
Step 2: Navigate to Domain Setup
Once logged in, navigate to the Account Manager
section and click on Domain Setup
.
Step 3: Renaming the domain

Click on the
Rename Domain
button. -
In the
Old domain
field, select the old domain you would like to rename from the drop-down list. -
In the
New Domain
field, enter the new domain name you want to use to replace the old domain. -
Double-check the new domain name for any typos or errors.

Click the
Save
button to finalize the renaming process.
Step 4: Test the New Domain

After renaming the domain and updating DNS and website configuration (if necessary), test the new domain by accessing it through a web browser.

Ensure that the website loads correctly and that all services associated with the renamed domain are functioning as expected.
If the old domain had an SSL certificate, you would need to re-issue one for the new domain name as well.
